Shiverlane are craftsmiths of loudly melodic guitar-driven vignettes that rarely eclipse the 3-minute mark St. John Mellor so abhorred. Founded in 2020, this Boston-area four-piece’s royal lineage includes The Rudds, Thinner, Preacher Roe, The Rationales, Fat Randy, Ringtail, and Tom Baker’s Double Down among prestigious others. The band’s 2022 Sir David Minehan-produced In Bits EP was received like Dame Helen Mirren at the 2019 Oscars, garnering worldwide airplay highlighted by Sirius XM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage. Super-charged singles “I Get Nervous” and “Aeroplane Driver” were released in Fall 2023 to widespread acclaim and the band’s highly-anticipated full-length debut is due in mid-2024.
