Lo-Fi, High Octane. The music of Type 66 could best be described as somewhat like early Queens of the Stone Age, Death From Above 1979, Cleopatrick, and T Rex shaken and served hot in an obsidian glass with a garnish of feedback. Originally from Allston Rock City, the band now calls Dorchester home. Members of Type 66 have played with the likes of Anarchy Club, Cobalt 60, C60, Zug Zug, The Welch Boys, Wrought Iron Hex, and The Scallywags. They are loud, noisy, and jagged around the edges. But only if they like you.
